CRT Driver

Complete from scratch design of an electrostatic CRT driver, generating up to +4kV from 12V, along with deflection voltages and grid currents to create a vector display using entirely off-the-shelf BOM.

World’s Biggest Mac Plus

A 237% scale replica of a 1986 Macintosh Plus, complete with working keyboard and mouse. Custom built from the ground up using novel 3D printing techniques, tested and proven automotive grade finishing, and engineered with a dimension tolerance of 0.3% to the original.

Nissan Radio Upgrade Conversion

Created a one-off replacement kit to upgrade a 2017 Nissan Rogue to a 2018 OEM headunit. This upgrade came with a host of functionality improvements, while retaining stock compatibility with all existing features, such as 360 cameras, steering wheel controls, premium audio amplifier, and gauge cluster track info.

Nimolights PCB Heart

A custom built PCB to both look amazing, and function as a centerpiece wearable. Dazzled with RGB LEDs and a custom algorithm for reacting to the sounds and music around you, it makes a great demonstration of my hardware and software, plus artistic abilities.

OpenPilot GM port improvements

As an active openpilot user, several deficiencies in the GM ports control system made the experience less than ideal. I worked on reverse-engineering the CAN bus my personal Chevy Volt to re-enable automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, along with making the whole system far safer and more reliable.
